The trend
What is the Alors on Danse pets trend?
The Alors on Danse trend remakes a comedy sketch where Stromae plays "Alors on danse" on a tiny keyboard plugged into a laptop while a friend dances and hypes next to him. The pet version puts two animals at the same keyboard and laptop instead.
It works because a pet looking serious at an instrument is funny on its own, and the song does the rest. Two pets are best: a dog and a cat, two puppies or two kittens. You can also use the same pet twice.
oVideo uses a 15 second pet clip as the reference, so the keyboard, the laptop, the paw moves and the song are kept. You only choose which pet plays the keyboard and which one works the laptop.

- A cat and a dog, two dogs or two cats all work. Add the same photo twice to let one pet play both roles.
Answers
Frequently asked questions
- How do I put my dog or cat in the Alors on Danse trend?
- Open the Alors on Danse Pets template on oVideo, add a photo of each pet and press create. You get a vertical 15 second video with the original song in a few minutes.
- Can I use a cat and a dog together?
- Yes. Each role takes its own photo, so a cat can play the keyboard while a dog works the laptop, or the other way round.
- Do I need two pets?
- The template has two roles, so it needs two photos. They can be two different pets, or the same pet twice.
- Is the original song kept?
- Yes. "Alors on danse" plays in sync with the paws on the keys, just like in the original trend.
- How much does it cost?
- The video is 15 seconds and costs 285 credits (19 credits per second). On the Starter plan that is about $7.13, and less on larger plans. If a generation fails, the credits come back automatically.
- Is this an Alors on Danse AI meme generator for pets?
- Yes, in practice: it turns two pet photos into the Alors on Danse meme with the real song. There is no prompt to write; the template sets the moves and the timing.
- Is it free?
- No. It costs 285 credits, and credits come with a paid plan from $10 a month (400 credits), or $7.50 a month billed yearly. Failed videos are refunded automatically.
- Is there a version with people?
- Yes. The original Alors on Danse AI trend puts you and a friend at the keyboard, one photo for each of you.
